The Funke Family Session in a Beautiful Birch Tree Forest Location

Here I go catching up on my blogging again with a super sweet featured family! This was my second year in a row photographing the Funke family and I always enjoy seeing them! This session took place in my favorite Forest Heights location in Portland, Oregon. Th beautiful white birch trees, forest trails, and early afternoon soft light make this location an ideal spot for family photos!

As a lifestyle family photographer, my goal is to create meaningful moments that show the love and connection in a family. But families don’t naturally do this at a photo shoot! It can feel quite awkward to be in front of camera! Each step of the way is guided through prompts and poses. Then sure enough, those candid “in between” moments start to happen and I am ready with my camera!
